I love you more than life itself. This phrase is used by many people to express their love for their partner but has anyone really thought about its depth. If you tell somebody that you love him/her more than life itself, that means the person is more important than air, food, shelter, and even life itself. It is more than just saying, “I love you.” It is saying, “I love you more than myself,” which is sometimes hard for people to comprehend.
It’s not something many people can claim to do. Even if they say it, only a few truly mean it in their heart. In this modern-day and age, where life is so fast-paced and hectic, we often feel upset or angry about things in our lives and, in the process, forget about the ones we love most.
Fortunately, there are still people who do not forget.

Why is expressing love important?
Expressing love is very important in a relationship. Whether it be a brother and sister, father and son, mother and daughter, or friends, expressing our love for one another creates a strong bond.
Love is the root of all human emotions and feelings. It can be shown as a sensation that brings happiness and joy. Love is the sole force capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it gives them an inner unity and thus makes them consciously one. Love is the force that brings together all things in the universe in one whole.
When you love someone, you put their needs ahead of your own, whether they are friends or family. When you truly love someone, you give up your need for control over them or control that is based on fear.
It is easy to say, “I love you,” but it is more difficult to show the love in your heart. When your parents say, “I love you,” do you really feel they really mean what they say? Do you trust that they mean what they say?
When someone else says, “I love you,” or “I love him/her,” for example, someone that is planning to marry someone, how do you know they are telling the truth without seeing what goes on behind closed doors?
How To Express Your Love?
Love is not about how much material wealth you have but how much love you express. Expressing your love is a great way to improve the quality of your relationship. In each relationship, there may be a period in which people forget or neglect to express their love for one another.
In the past, people have tried many ways to express their love for one another. They have sent letters and gifts, but these days, it doesn’t always feel as though they do enough to show how they feel. Thankfully, there are a number of various ways to express how you feel about someone’s personality and that they can be easy ways to do it as well.
To improve the effectiveness of your relationship, it is important to make sure that you are consciously working on those relationships as often as you can.
Many people tend to neglect those relationships they already have with their loved ones because they make them feel as though showing love is a waste of time.
