7 Golden Rules of Life You Should Get Start To Follow Today!

You know what rules provide consistency, structure, and accountability. They allow us to be agile and focus on what matters most in our life. Rules are basically guidance for life. Without rules in life we will not be able to live peacefully.

Rules are important because they teach us discipline. Discipline is required if you want to achieve something in your life, so if you follow the rule, you will have discipline.

Well, this article will describe 5 golden rules of life to follow to make you more stable, consistent, and ability to deal with harsh situations.

1.  Priorities Change as the Time Changes.

It doesn’t matter why it changes, it just does. We can’t control what we prioritize. In the past, my life priorities used to be random things such as friends and family, hobbies, and personal development.

Our lives are like a box of Lego blocks. Every day, a new block falls into the box and shifts everything around it. As a result, our lives become more colorful and exciting.

But eventually we reach a point where our life priorities are out of order and we need to fix them. That’s when the challenge begins.

One of the most effective ways to fix our life priorities is to step back and ask ourselves some important questions about our lives.

Maybe we want to start making changes in our lives, but we’re not sure which changes to make first or how to do it.

Or maybe we know what we need to do, but we’re afraid to actually do it because of all of the negative thoughts in our head telling us not to do it.

I think everyone has a different set of priorities in their lives, but some of the fundamentals remain the same.

Time with family would be at the top of the list for most people and then working towards goals that help you get ahead.

The other basics like eating well, getting enough sleep and treating your body with respect will help you be at your best.

If you have these things in place, then life priorities are about making choices to do the things that you want to do and less about the things you have to do.

2. Some Endings Don’t Have Proper Goodbyes.

Some endings in life don’t happen properly. I mean, why do we live our lives understanding that death is the end?

That’s a sad ending to life. I’ve been reading a lot of books lately and one of the books said “You could sit and think about how many years you’re gonna die old or you could think about how many years you’re gonna live young.

As sad as the ending of a relationship or a dream can be, sometimes it’s even more sad because it feels like it just doesn’t have an ending at all.

There are lots of things in life that don’t have a proper goodbye. Maybe a goodbye was never even said or maybe it was but the person you were saying goodbye to was too busy to hear you out.

3. Some Endings Don’t Have Proper Goodbyes.

Despite the fact that people do try, there are some wounds that can’t be healed by apology. Actually, it is human nature to hurt one another sometimes and people make mistakes that can break others completely.

A single word or act can crush someone’s heart and ruin the good relationship they had. While we might think that it is easy to say ‘sorry’, broken hearts can sometimes not recover from a bad mistake.

4. Rule Your Life Instead of Being a Fool in Someone’s Life.

Staying up-to-date with the latest trend is now a routine that we have to follow in order to be competitive. However, we must not forget that true happiness is only derived from one thing—being ourselves.

But how do you define yourself? What is your true identity? How do you know if you’re not following the herd? Well, I’m not here to tell you what you should be, just to remind you that it’s okay to be yourself.

Each one of us is born with our distinct set of talents and personality.

Let’s embrace the person we were born to be and work on making our spirit happy. It’s time to stop living someone else’s life and start ruling yours. Because when you rule your life, you will find happiness and fulfillment.

You don’t have to be a fool in someone’s life who is fool enough to be your fool. The only way to be in control of your life is to rule your life. Rule your life with every breath you take and think before every step you make.

5. Gift Your Silence to People Who Take You for Granted.

How many times have you heard, “it’s the thought that counts”? While that may be true, it is also annoying to receive some gifts with no meaning behind them.

Sometimes people get the wrong idea that just because they are giving you a gift, they can treat you in any way they like.

Why give the people in your life who have taken your time, your energy and your loyalty for granted? Why should you give your silence to people who take you for granted?

6. Your Mental is Your Priority.

Mental health is something that people should take care of and not be afraid to talk about it because it’s a part of life.

I think you hear a lot of people say that “you are only responsible to take care of your mental health”, and I’m here to tell you why mental health is important for you.

The first thing is, mental health isn’t a weakness.

When we talk about mental health it is like a soft part of your body that you need to be protected. You can take care of your physical health by going to the gym, and eating healthy.

You can take care of your mental health by going to the doctor to get exams, therapy sessions or medication.

7. Self Respect is Everything.

This is one of those things that has been beaten over our heads, but I don’t think we truly understand the importance of this concept.

It is so easy to get caught up in the little things in life, which really aren’t that important in the grand scheme of things.

The reality is that times can be hard and when hard times hit, one needs to focus on what’s most important in order to keep pushing forward.

To me, self-respect is the most important thing one can have. The reason being is that if you don’t respect yourself, no one else will either.

We all have had experiences where we’ve respected someone for who they are and not their position in society.
